In 2022, the Center on Disabilities returns to an in-person conference at the Anaheim Marriott in Anaheim, California. The 37th Annual CSUN AT Conference will take place March 14 – 18, 2022.
About the Conference
The conference begins Monday, March 14th with its traditional preconference workshops featuring a wide variety of topics addressing important areas of assistive technology, web and document accessibility and universal design for learning.
Tuesday starts with CSUN’s Keynote speaker, Mike Paciello who, through a trilogy of stories, will recount how Innovation, Collaboration, Transparency and Trust are the critical keys to ensuring an optimal user experience for people with disabilities.
This year’s conference features several events including the presentation of the Strache Leadership award to Jodi Johnson in recognition of the significant impact Jodi has had in education and research.
Additionally, each year, the Journal Track submission with the highest marks is recognized with the Dr. Arthur Karshmer Award for Assistive Technology Research. The 2022 Dr. Arthur I. Karshmer Award for Assistive Technology Research is awarded to “A Tangible Manipulative for Inclusive Quadrilateral Learning” by Scott Lambert, Brett Fiedler, Chloe Hershenow, Dor Abrahamson, and Jenna Gorlewicz.
The week then kicks into high-gear with the general sessions and opening of the Exhibit Hall. For more information about the conference venue, agenda and social activities, see the CSUN AT Conference home page.
