Children with significant motor, cognitive and communication challenges are often not able to write or produce meaningful content. OT’s and SLP’s are in an ideal position to provide an interdisciplinary approach to implement adaptive writing strategies so that our complex students can experience greater success in writing. This will be an interactive session, covering all methods of writing production, strategies for instruction, data collection and access to a writing tools database.
